Hiking to Supai: GoPro Edition
Okay, so it’s been almost 2 months, but I FINALLY finished putting together a little video from our last great hiking adventure in Arizona! Honestly, what takes the longest is finding the right music to put behind the video. I have done so much searching the internet to find royalty-free music that is free (since I’m not making money off of the videos I’m posting currently, it doesn’t make sense to spend money to create them) – AND that is “audibly appealing”! Well today, I happened upon a Youtube channel of a man who creates music that fits all my criteria, and with that the whole thing just came together like that. The music was created by Ross Bugden – you can check out his channel here. I’ll definitely be using his music again… to start, there’s all those videos from our Utah trip 10 months ago… 😉
Curtis gets most of the credit for filming with the GoPro (Hero4 Silver Edition) for this – I took the still shots of the waterfalls using my phone (Samsung Galaxy S5). Admittedly, if we had been able to take videos from the first time we hiked Supai, the video footage would have been a little more exciting – but in the heat of the moment, I don’t think we would have even thought to pull a camera out (like when you’re wading through chest-deep rapids threatening to pull you in to the Colorado River, or you have a bighorn sheep charging at you – our first instinct was survival, not so much what could go viral).
Watch, enjoy, and subscribe to our channel if you wish! Thanks for stopping by!
