A Navy Update: The Date Is Set!

For those of you interested in knowing where we are with the Navy, we have an update! Curtis just received his ship date for the first step in this journey. This new adventure begins in June! It’s all becoming so real to us now.

This means we will be separated for 12 weeks. I’m trying not to think about that part right now, instead I’m thinking about all the ways to make those weeks go by faster. Ideally, I’d love to spend that time with family and avoid another Arizona summer! There’s still plenty of time to think about that though – if anyone has any ideas or advice for me, I’d love to hear it!
